Our Story
Picture this: two friends from different cities – one living in Amsterdam, the other in Utrecht – who absolutely love working together. We'd meet up, find a cafe somewhere in between, order our coffees, and get to work. Sounds simple, right?
Well, not quite. We'd always end up in this weird dance of over-ordering. Another coffee we didn't really want. A pastry to justify staying a bit longer. Sometimes the barista would walk by with that look – you know the one – and we'd feel this pressure to order something else, even though we were perfectly happy with what we had.
That awkward feeling of knowing you're taking up space without contributing fairly? We felt it every single time. And honestly, it took the joy out of working from these beautiful cafes that we loved so much.
So we thought: what if we could fix this? What if we could create a way for remote workers to contribute fairly, for cafe owners to earn from their space, and for everyone to feel good about the arrangement? No awkwardness, no guilt, just transparency and fairness.
